What's On My Mind Is One Of My Favorite Things

While I was working last night, I noticed that it was back, that one coarse, stiff hair that grows out of the mole on my right cheek.  It wasn't terribly long, as it sometimes gets before I get around to plucking it and it was unlikely that anyone else even noticed it (it is blond, after all).  But, still, it was long enough to annoy me.  And, as always, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't pull it out with my fingers...I would have to wait until I got home to use tweezers on it.  Finally, I got home and it was tweezers-time!  I got to experience one of my weirdest favorite things.  I love the feeling of nabbing that one little hair securely between the tweezers' blades and the sensation of that rough little bugger resisting being pulled out.  It doesn't hurt, just kind of tugs a bit.  The tug is what I love - it tells me I got the right hair in the tweezers, not some wimpy, fine hair...no, it means I got the big kahuna, the king of the mole.  And it will be gone, leaving my cheek smooth and prickle-free.  Ah, the relief!
